Movie Night

Residents attend the premiere of "El Chico que miente" (The Kid Who Lies) in Ocumare February 25, 2011. For the past four decades, Ocumare, a small Caribbean fishing village with a population of 7000, did not have a movie theatre but it did not stop them from being portrayed as the protagonist of the first Venezuelan film to participate in February's Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin. On Friday night, about 1,000 residents of the village gathered at the Plaza Bolivar to watch the premiere of " El Chico que miente" (The Kid Who Lies) by Peruvian director Marite Ugas. On Movie Night we screen a film, suitable for younger audiences. We also provide everyone with a complimentary drink and popcorn, to enjoy with their movie.

Arts & Crafts

Arts & Crafts is a loosely structured creative time, where children are free to let their imaginations run free using supplied crafting materials. Don’t worry, everyone is free to take anything they make home with them!

Breakfast Club

Sunny cheerful breakfast

For our early risers we do offer a Breakfast club on weekends between 9-10am, allowing children to get their most important meal of the day while you start the day off right.
